WHO ARE WE?
We Remember is a 2024-2025 Marjory Stoneman Douglas DECA Community Awareness Chapter Project that aims to foster awareness and understanding of the destructive impacts of hate. For information about our Founders and Advisors, please click HERE.
problem statement
For many years, hatred has been an issue around the world and has affected people of different races, genders, ages, & cultures. Additionally, it has started conflicts, divided societies, and led to some of the darkest periods of time in history. These genocides stand as a constant reminder of how prejudice can lead to violence within any community and despite education about hate, it continues to occur today and action needs to be taken.
OUR PURPOSE
We Remember seeks to raise awareness about hate through educational lessons, online campaigns, and more. By sharing stories of past tragedies, we hope to encourage individuals to foster a more inclusive community where everyone is allowed.
OPEN TO ALL
Although we are an MSD DECA Chapter Project, We Remember is open to all MSD Students; you do NOT have to be in DECA to participate in activities! Click HERE to learn how to join our Remind and follow our Instagram!
